Groupe Bordet - Maîtres Feux

Groupe Bordet - Maîtres Feux, created in 1996, is the result of the consolidation of 3 companies.

In September 1996, BORDET FRERES, the first carbonisation plant in France in 1860, wanted to move towards carbonisers in order to produce a substantial amount of charcoal products and meet customer requirements.

Our background and recognised expertise in this field have enabled us to create the GROUPE BORDET - MAÎTRES FEUX.

Our group which owns several production sites in France guarantees safe supply to French purchasing centres through significant experience in logistics and a high-end industrial product.

Bordet Frères

Our company was founded in 1860 to replace Blacksmith shops and Blast Furnaces which stopped following introduction of the English smelting process into France.

PEFCIt was the first Carbonisation and Distillation plant, at a time when retorts were heated with faggots and when only acetate of lime and Charcoal was manufactured. The plant has since been updated many times.
